Partnering with i3D.net

Idem partners with i3D.net to bring leading game server hosting and networking to customers

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with i3D.net to integrate their globe-spanning infrastructure straight into Idem’s matchmaker. With this partnership, you will be able to launch game-servers in one of i3D.net’s 60+ locations and take advantage of their global ultra-low latency network – directly out of Idem’s matchmaker.

AAA-grade game hosting and low-latency networks for everyone

i3D.net provides powerful infrastructure with near-infinite scalability. Their extensive global footprint of servers, connected by low-latency networks, ensures unrivaled performance for gamers worldwide. For good reasons, companies like Ubisoft, EA and Discord trust i3D.net with their compute and networking needs.

Get set-up

Setting up is easy. Get your i3D.net server connected to Idem simply by entering your i3D.net API keys into your Idem account. Now, each time the matchmaker finds a match for your players, Idem will get a an instance of your game started on i3D.net and provide connection details to your players. Voilà!

The micro-backend, the match, the hosting – all-in-one

Together, Idem and i3D.net provide you with everything you need to launch your game. Need authentication? We use Steam and Firebase for the most popular sign-in options. You need lobbies? No problem. Matchmaking: sorted. Scalable compute: we got you covered. Everything is there, so you can focus on your game –  and don’t need to worry about your backend or hardware.

More advanced needs? Bring your own backend

We integrate with the most popular 3rd party game backends like Accelbyte, Pragma or Beamable. And even if you use your own backend, integration with Idem will be a walk in the park.
